It's 2015! And it's the first Monday of the year! I would make some resolutions, but I don't believe in them. It doesn't have to be the beginning of a new year to set goals for your life. You can do that any day. Every day is a brand new start.
I have to say before baby I was in the best shape ever. I trained for marathons, was always super active doing lots of toning exercises. I still train for marathons and I'm active. You kind of have too with a toddler. But over time I have been really analyzing myself because I certainly don't feel the way I used too before baby. Clothes fit snugger making it feel uncomfortable and I HATE that feeling. People may say you look great, you look fine, but guess what peeps!? I don't feel it! And that is KEY to living a happy healthy life instead of feeling bloated, tired and sluggish!
So yes like I mentioned to you, I've been analyzing my ways and examining what I'm doing that the last stubborn lbs are not coming off. And most of it is in my eating habits. I can run and weight train all I want but if I'm not eating correctly that is the downfall and I think that is totally my weakness and where I am at right now. I'm a big snacker and sometimes I over do it!
I want to stress that it's not just about the way I look that matters, because sure everyone looks great when they lose 10-15lbs. My main priority is I want to feel great, healthy and full of energy! And when I look back on my pre baby body pics yes, I'm not going to lie I sure miss it and I miss how it felt.
I want to start a challenge and a support group to encourage, keep tabs, and motivate each other. Anyone interested? Don't be shy now...I don't want to go in this alone. This doesn't require an extensive meal eating plan by the way, because sometimes you just have to take small steps to see results. This is Open to anyone whether you are trying to lose 10lbs or 100lbs. I want to target this more for moms but anyone can join.
I propose that all who want to join my challenge and support group commit something once a month to improving your health and keeping weight off. It can be anything... For example I commit to exercising at least 4 days out of the week. It's definitely achievable. If you started the day bad today, hey it's never too late to hop on and commit, because like I said in the beginning every day is a new start.
I really would like to create a FB group page for this so we can chat, discuss work outs, meal plans, hold each other accountable, and share our commitments for the month of January. Every month we'll commit to something else and keep adding!!!
